Who we are, and what this page covers
BankGuard Academy provides fraud-prevention education that is licensed to financial institutions. Those institutions give the training to their clients at no cost to those clients. We do not sell the course to individuals.
This page sets out the terms of that licence: what you get, what it costs, what you may and may not do with the materials, and how we handle the little information this site touches. These terms apply to bankguardacademy.com and to every institution that licenses the program.
Effective date: 17 September 2026. See also our Privacy Policy and Accessibility Statement.
The licence
One-time annual fee. A licence is paid once and runs for one year from the date of purchase. There is no automatic renewal and no auto-charge: if you want to continue after the year ends, we invoice the renewal separately and you decide then. Prices are shown on our licensing page.
What the licence covers. For the licensed institution, the licence includes:
- •The full 11-module online course, unlocked for your institution with its own license code.
- •The 6-poster lobby set in English and Spanish, print-ready for your branches.
- •The Spanish core-habits one-pager.
Your institution may give the course and the printed materials to its clients at no cost to those clients, as a customer service and fraud-protection offering. The licence is not sold to individuals and does not cover reselling the program.
Client tiers
Our Community licence covers an institution serving up to about 1,000 clients; our Growth licence covers up to about 5,000 clients. The tier describes the expected size of the client base you are serving with the program.
If your client base grows beyond the tier you licensed, we will ask you to move up to the appropriate tier at your renewal — never mid-term. There are no surprise mid-term charges: nothing changes on your invoice until the year you have paid for has run out.
Money-back guarantee
Annual licences come with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If the program is not right for your institution, ask us for a refund within 30 days of purchase and we will refund it in full, to the original payment method. Just email bankguard-academy-c68468aa@ctomail.io.
Acceptable use
When you license BankGuard Academy, you agree that you will not:
- •Resell the course as a standalone product, or offer it for sale in any form.
- •Redistribute the materials outside your own institution — your clients, your branches, and your own channels.
- •Modify the content or present it as your own work; BankGuard Academy keeps authorship of the course and the poster set.
Within those limits, use the course freely: share it with your clients, print the posters for your lobbies, and add your institution's name to the training you offer.
What the materials are — and are not
The course is educational fraud-prevention information. It isn't legal, financial, or investment advice, and it isn't your institution's required disclosures or official procedures.
It is also not a substitute for your institution's own regulatory-mandated training, compliance program, BSA/AML obligations, or the disclosures you are required to give your clients.
Data and privacy
We collect almost nothing. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no advertising on this site — the only cookie is the temporary one that unlocks the licensed course for a session. Read the full detail in our Privacy Policy.
Payments are handled end-to-end by Stripe. Card details never reach our servers — we never see or store them. For the facts your vendor-review team needs — what we hold (no end-client PII), how payments work, and where the site runs — see our Vendor Diligence page.
Limitation of liability
The materials are provided as-is. BankGuard Academy is not liable for losses arising from fraud that the materials did not prevent.
